Fine Art Photography Session 6: Adobe PhotoShop
Jan 21 2017
SP7102 Jan 21 2017 (10am-12:30pm) Saturday (River Room)
Adobe PhotoShop. In the previous sessions of this series, we considered the development of understanding what a camera can do, the skills of using a camera, how to perform deliberate photography, how to begin the process of Rendering of the captured images, and how to illuminate an indoor or outdoor scene most effectively. In this final session, we will practice using Adobe PhotoShop on the participants’ laptop computers to produce the most faithful “straight” photographs and to Render them on a professional printer. We will also demonstrate at least one more elaborate method for enhancing photographs using some of the powerful capabilities of Adobe PhotoShop. The series will conclude with considering some of the legal and business aspects of fine art photography.
This is the last of six individual sessions intended for moderately skilled photographers who wish to begin to develop deeper skills in Seeing, Capturing and Rendering, primarily in landscape or outdoor photography. Attendance will be limited to six participants. For this session, students should bring a laptop computer. Additional study materials will be provided for continuing after the course. Ages 18 and over, a $5 materials fee will be added to the tuition for this first session.
