Description   All Levels Barbara Galazzo GF1110 Feb 27-28 (10:00am-4:00pm) Saturday/Sunday (Glass Studio) How does color work? What makes some combinations of color more effective than others? This class will explore color principles and applications using kiln-glass techniques. The purpose is to increase the student�s understanding of color and how to use it in glasswork to make pieces that are more beautiful and in which color reinforces the artist�s intent. We will use hands on exercises to discover how the qualities of glass effect the piece being created. These will include transparency vs. opalescence, reflection, absorption and depth. It is through the class project that the student will use these principles to explore getting the most vibrant and appealing pieces possible.
