Description   All Levels John Stevens MB1610 Feb 20-21 (10:00am-4:00pm) Saturday/Sunday (Forge) Fight the next cold night by forging your own steel fireplace poker and shovel set in this practical two-day workshop. Newcomers to blacksmithing as well as veterans of the forge are invited to draw, split, bend, twist, rivet and sink their way to create a classic set of fireplace tools. Students will gain experience working coal and gas forges using a variety of smithing tools. The instructor will demonstrate a range of fundamental techniques and shop topics. Material fee to be charged.
