WT6407 Dec 10-11 2016 (9am-3:30pm) Saturday/Sunday (Turning Studio)

Tired of run of the mill salad bowls? Is it time for the next step? If so, then you should try turning a plate bowl. They create a lot of visual bang and excitement for the buck! A plate bowl is a small 2" to 3" diameter bowl added to a 7" diameter plate. The big wide plate area creates a nice canvas on which you can feature some decoration or just admire the beautiful grain of the wood. In this 2 day class, students will turn 1 or 2 plate bowls and then can decorate them with wood burning, acrylic paint, milk paint or just go with natural beauty of the wood grain. Ages 16 and over, a $30 materials fee will be added to the tuition.
