CL1612 Nov. 4, 2012, Sunday, 1-5 pm (Ceramics Barn)

This family workshop enables parent and child to engage in the time-tested activity of making art together. Build imaginative structures out of clay to attract seasonal birds for endless bird watching fun when the weather gets cold. As a team, parent and child will make a bird feeder or birdhouse from stoneware clay and then decorate work with colored slip. Plan to construct the project during class and leave it in the studio to be fired. Pieces will be ready to pick up by December, making this seasonal workshop a great opportunity to craft a holiday gift. This workshop is appropriate for children able to engage for the duration of the class with the help of an adult (generally ages 6-12). Limit two children per parent/caregiver.

1 child + parent or caregiver

            $50 (includes clay and firing)

Additional child (limit 2 children per parent/caregiver)
            $35 (includes clay and firing)
