Bring your bowls to a new level.
In this class you will learn how to add a beautiful and colorful rim to your work using resins. You will also learn to save a nice bowl blank that cracked while drying.
Students need to bring a dry, rough turned bowl 6"-8" in diameter, or may purchase one from the instructor at the class. Ages 18 and over, students must have bowl turning experience. A $15 material fee will be added to the tuition.

WT8305 Sept 29, 2018 (9am-3:30pm) Saturday (Turning Studio)

This course is for people who have an interest in learning how to turn. Students will learn about, wood, the wood lathe, wood turning tools, and sharpening. The focus of this class is learning chuck turning skills. Students will learn how to use the bowl gouge, parting tool and shear scraper to turn a Bowl out of Cherry wood. Students can expect to complete one bowl.
There are no prerequisites for this class. It is open to complete beginners and beyond. Ages 16 and over, a $20 materials fee will be added to the tuition.
